Wallace Headshot.jpg

After spending 18+ years incarcerated, beginning at the age of 12 in Juvenile Justice facilities, Wallace, after being released from Federal Prison made a commitment to society to be a vessel of healing and self-actualization. Wallace has had a traumatic experience while in custody; loss of major family members, sexual abuse, being diagnosed with AIDS/HIV and being the victim of numerous physical assaults. Upon his release in 2015, Wallace went to Essex County College in 2016. Between January 2016-January 2021, Wallace earned his Associates in Social Science, Bachelor's, and Master's in Political Science from Rutgers University Newark. Wallace believes that the determining factor of success is primarily oneself. It is always a blessing to have a community that is vested in your success and institutions that offer assistance.
